Rise and Shine 是一首 charity single (慈善義賣單曲),在1998年6月16日發行
由我最喜愛的POE 所演唱, 獻給一個叫Levar 的小孩(應該就是單曲封面的黑人小孩)
根據消息的供布,這首單曲請到了關史蒂芬妮來作合音(Gwen Stefani)
雖然是這麼說,但在聽完後根本聽不出來Gwen 有唱的部分,讓人懷疑她真的有唱嗎?
大部分認為這應該是要藉Gwen 的名氣來炒這張單曲的買量,因為知名度是很現實的 = . = ll


POE 雖然也擁有不少死忠歌迷(我就是其中之一) 但跟Gwen 一比就很 . . . 了
所以這大概就是唱片公司用來宣傳用的策略,我高度懷疑Gwen 只有掛名,其實根本沒唱
Anyway, 這首單曲的名稱rise & shine 去查解釋之後,它的意思就是指太陽出來了曬屁股了
有點就是我們叫人起床的意思~

這首歌共有2種版本, 一首是和Gwen 合作的那首Levar's Lullaby 也是最為人知的版本.另一首是POE 自己獨自solo 的Acoustic Version 也就是俗稱不插電的版本~2種版本當然都很好聽, 不過我自己更偏好不插電的版本(笑)
因為前一種版本有加入Levar 的聲音,有點不知道他在唱or 唸 !? 什麼 (後面結尾的部分)
可能POE 是希望加入小孩子天真的童音吧~反正就連單曲封面都設計的那麼cute 了說 ^  ^
